Terms & Conditions:

The Terms and Conditions set forth on this website are an agreement between you, your company, and/or any other organization on whose behalf you represent and Reynard Corporation. By using this site and/or placing an order with Reynard Corporation either on this site or through any other means, you agree, without limitation, to be bound by and comply with these Terms and Conditions and all future changes or amendments to them.

 

Content:
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, display, sell, modify, reverse engineer, or exploit any content of this site unless expressly allowed by Reynard Corporation in writing.

 

New Customers / Opening an Account:

New customers please request a line of credit upon submission of a valid purchase order.

 

Purchase Orders:
Written, faxed and e-mail purchase orders are accepted. All verbal orders require immediate written confirmation.

 

Quotations:
All quotations are valid for 30 days from date of quotation and are in U.S. dollars.

 

Terms:
Reynard Corporation standard terms are Net 30 days, with established credit, from date of invoice. All others will be handled on a pre-paid or C.O.D. payment basis only. Reynard Corporation accepts Mastercard & Visa.

 

Past Due Accounts:
All accounts over 30 days from date of invoice may be put on hold until balance is paid in full, and you are at risk of losing your credit line.

 

Price:
Catalog and Website prices are subject to change without notice. All prices shown in the catalog and on the Website are unit prices and are in U.S. dollars. Quantity discounts are available upon request.

 

Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE):
Charges listed for NRE are based on the manufacturing of product or components in the quantities quoted.  NRE shall be billed at the time of order placement to cover the upfront cost of fixtures, tooling, materials, engineering, or other costs required initiate the manufacturing process, unless otherwise specified on the quotation. Orders for greater or smaller quantities may necessitate additional NRE. Although the tooling may be used solely for the manufacturing of product or components for the customer, Reynard Corporation shall retain all rights and title in and to such tooling, fixtures, and all technology relating thereto and may re-use the tooling, fixtures, and technology at their discretion.

 

Shipping Terms:
All prices are F.O.B. San Clemente, California.

Domestic customers must provide a preferred shipping method and a shipping account number. Otherwise shipping charges are prepaid by Reynard Corporation and billed to the customer.

International customers must provide a preferred shipping method and a shipping account number.

Unless otherwise specified by the customer, shipping is made by the most expedient method. A handling charge will be added.

 

Specifications:
Reynard Corporation reserves the right to modify, change or otherwise improve all catalog item specifications without notice.

Reynard will only provide a Certificate of Conformance for all shipments unless otherwise specified.

 

Website:
Reynard Corporation is not responsible for website errors.

 

Return of Goods Policy:
Notice of errors or defective material must be made in writing within five (5) days of receipt of goods. Buyer shall remain liable for invoice amount unless seller is notified in this manner. Our liability is limited to replacing the material or crediting the invoiced value of same upon receipt of goods returned.

All returned goods require an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. When goods are returned, freight must be prepaid, and the package must show the RMA number and original P.O. number.

Custom and non-standard products may not be returned for credit.

 

Restocking:
Goods must be returned in acceptable condition. A restocking charge of 20% of invoice value will be charged on all goods accepted by us for return to stock. We are unable to accept the return of custom non-catalog goods.

 

Cancellations:
The Buyer may cancel only upon Reynard Corporation’s prior written approval, which approval may be granted or withheld in Reynard Corporation’s sole discretion. Buyer shall be responsible for all costs associated with such cancellation including, but not limited to, the burdened costs of all raw materials, work in progress and finished goods inventory on-hand or ordered which are impacted by such cancellation, AND 50% of the remaining contract value for product(s) not started and without burden. Reynard Corporation will use commercially reasonable efforts to reduce such cancellation costs. In no event shall the Buyer be liable for more than the contract price of the canceled products.

If Reynard Corporation through no fault of its own is not able to deliver the ordered product because the supplier or sub-contractor of Reynard Corporation does not meet its contractual obligations, Reynard Corporation shall be entitled to withdraw from its obligations to the Buyer.  In this case, the Buyer shall be immediately informed that the ordered product is not available.

Reynard Corporation reserves the right to cancel orders at its discretion.

 

Customer’s Material:
Every effort will be made to handle customer’s material with the greatest possible care. However, all such handling will be done at the customers risk and our liability is limited to the value added.  Unless provided and requested by the customer, substrate lot information will not be maintained or recorded.

 

Witness Samples:
Witness samples are usually used to validate coating performance when it is unreasonable to use full size substrates due to size, material availability, cost, or other factors.  Witness samples typically will not originate from the same material lot as a deliverable production part(s) and will be of different dimension in size, thickness, and/or shape.  Though every effort is made to minimize any differences, due to these factors, there may be performance differences between the witness sample and the production part(s).  Lot information (i.e. melt data) may not be available for witness samples.

 

Prototypes, Drawings, etc.:
Reynard Corporation shall own and retain all right, title, and interest in and to all prototypes, drawings, schematics, designs, specifications, samples, fixtures and other tooling, and technical documentations that may be prepared, created, or provisioned wholly or partially in connection with any products or services.

 

General Liability and Limitations:
Limited to the amount of the invoice to Reynard Corporation.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL REYNARD CORPORATION, ITS AFFILIATES OR THEIR SUPPLIERS, SUBCONTRACTORS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR (A) ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, COMMERICAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS, REVENUES, GOOD WILL, INCONVENIENCE, SAVINGS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF REYNARD CORPORATION HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES); (B) ANY CLAIMS, DEMANDS, OR ACTIONS AGAINST CUSTOMER BY ANY THIRD PARTY; (C) ANY LOSS OF CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH CUSTOMER’S IMPLEMENTATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MALFUNCTION, INACCURACY, NON-CONFORMANCE, OR OF ANY CONCLUSIONS OR RECOMMENDATIONS BY SELLER OR ITS AFFILIATES BASED ON, RESULTING FROM, ARISING OUT OF, OR OTHERWISE RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS PRODUCED.

 

Warranty:
All our products are warranted for 30 days from shipment date.

 

Counterfeit Materials/Products:
Reynard Corporation does not accept Counterfeit Materials/Products. In the event that suspect materials/products should inadvertently be shipped into Reynard Corporation; they shall be treated as nonconforming product and as part of our due diligence, turned over to proper statutory/regulatory agency. Reynard Corporation shall not be financially responsible for said material/product.

 

International Shipments:
All transactions must be made in U.S. dollars. Payments should be made by bank-to-bank transfer to eliminate additional banking charges. Customer must pay all banking charges. Net 30 days is available with established credit. Payments can also be made by company check drawn on a U.S. bank and in U.S. dollars, Master Card, Visa or prepay.

Exports are subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce, and any other U.S. governmental organization that guides, restricts, or enforces shipments outside of the United States of America.  Reynard Corporation shall due diligence in complying with any and all regulations.

The warranty provided above is exclusive and in lieu of all other express or implied warranties including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some laws do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. If these laws apply, then all express and implied warranties are limited to the warranty period identified above. Unless stated herein, any statements or representations made by any other person or firm are void. Except as provided in this written warranty, Reynard Corporation shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage; including indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages; resulting from the use or inability to use Reynard Corporation product whether such claim is based upon breach of warranty, negligence or any other legal theory.

Privacy Policy

Reynard Corporation understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your information is used and shared online.
