Patterned Optics

Multiple Thin-Film Coatings

Reynard Corporation offers custom patterned optical coatings to produce a wide range of complex optics with geometries as small as 5 microns on substrates up to 18 inches in diameter using our highly accurate photolithography process. Thin-film patterns can be applied to any vacuum compatible substrate material, including glass, certain plastics, and ceramics to produce a variety of shapes to meet your custom requirements.

  • Patterns are developed based on UV curable/dissolvable polymeric photoresist.
  • 5µm and above geometry resolution.
  • Multiple pattern stacking, alignment tolerance 25um and above.
  • Patterned optical coating thickness up to 7um.
  • Patterned photoresist thicknesses up to 100um.
  • Patterned dielectric and metal coatings.
  • Substrates as large as 18″ in diameter.
  • Multi-Spectral Detector Filters.
